Did you know it's possible to make money without a product?

I'm not talking about building a waitlist to presell your product.

I am talking about no product at all. Not even having an idea of a product.

This is basically how I made my first 6 figures online.

  • I had no money to invest in ads. So I couldn't do ecommerce.

  • I had no coding skills. So I couldn't build an app.

  • I had no skills to sell as a service. So no freelance.

But I was hungry. And it was enough.

Before you close this page when you read the word, just stay a bit, because I'll show you exactly how to get started today (with a real example).

So this technique is simple: you position yourself as a middleman between a brand and an audience.

I am talking about affiliate marketing.

Why most people fail at it

They promote junk. One-time payout, $20, and you have to find a new buyer every single month to keep eating.

The move is to promote software people pay for every month. You get paid every month too. Same work, but the money stacks instead of resetting.

That's the whole game. Recurring commission on a product that doesn't churn.

In 2025 I sold my affiliate website for $120,000. And the only way this website was making money was through affiliate commissions.

More specifically selling SaaS products that were not mine.

People would search on Google: "Best CRM software for small businesses".

I would rank number 1, promote Monday dot com, and make 30% lifetime commissions.

The real example: our own program

We just opened the Distribb affiliate program, and I'm going to use it as the example because I know the exact numbers.

Distribb is an AI SEO agent. It does keyword research, writes the articles, publishes them to your CMS, builds backlinks, and tracks your AI visibility. It replaces a stack of five tools or a $2,000/month agency.

Here's the deal:

  • 40% recurring commission, every month, for as long as your referral stays

  • $38.80/month per customer on the $97 plan

  • $198/month per customer on the $495 plan

  • 60-day cookie, last click wins

  • Free to join, no need to be a customer

  • Paid monthly by PayPal once you pass $50

Run the math on 10 referrals of the $97 plan: $388/month. That's $4,656 over 12 months from work you did once.

Or 5 referrals of the $495 plan: $990/month.

One thing to know: we're in the founding window right now. Join now and you lock 40% for life. Everyone who joins after gets 30%. Rates already granted never drop, so joining early is strictly better than waiting.

  1. Grab your unique tracking link from the dashboard (it shows clicks, trials and conversions in real time)

  2. Access to our free course to learn how to make money with Affiliate Marketing.

That's it. You now have something to sell without owning anything.

You don't need an audience of 50,000 people. You need one place where people talk about a problem this solves.

Here are the six channels, ordered from fastest to slowest.

1. Instagram Reels + ManyChat (fastest short-term results)

Record short Reels showing the dashboard, the auto-publishing, the backlinks, or the angle "I replaced 5 SEO tools with one AI agent".

  • Hook in the first 3 seconds

  • CTA: "Comment SEO and I'll DM you the details"

  • Use ManyChat (or similar) so the comment triggers an automatic DM with your affiliate link

  • Back it up with Stories and carousels

This can generate clicks and conversations the same day if the Reel gets traction.

Bonus: You can simply copy my cofounder scripts and publish the same reels today to get your first sales.

2. Parasite SEO (Medium, LinkedIn)

Publish on platforms that already have authority so you don't wait months for your own site to rank.

  • Medium: reviews and comparisons. "Best AI SEO tools 2026", "Distribb review". Optimize the title and tags, link in the body and in your bio

  • LinkedIn articles and posts: founder angles. "How SaaS founders get organic traffic without an SEO team"

  • Also worth testing: Substack notes, Hashnode, Quora answers, LinkedIn Articles.

You can publish today and start getting views quickly.

3. Reddit

Value first, always. Reddit bans hard promotion.

  • Target r/SEO, r/SaaS, r/Entrepreneur, r/content_marketing, r/solopreneur

  • Answer real questions about content automation, backlinks, and AI SEO tools

  • Share your experience and your numbers. Drop the link only when someone asks or when the rules allow it

  • Build some karma first for better visibility

Fast traffic when a post lands, but inconsistent and easy to get wrong.

4. YouTube

Strong converter once it works, but more production time.

  • Video ideas: full Distribb walkthrough, "I automated my SEO with one tool", comparisons, before and after results

  • Link in the first line of the description, in a pinned comment, and on the end screen

  • Clear thumbnails, search-optimized titles

Shorts move faster. Long-form builds traffic that keeps paying.

5. Newsletter

Excellent if you already have a list interested in Business, SaaS or content marketing.

  • Soft mentions in your regular issues, or one dedicated review or case study

  • Screenshots or a short demo, then one clear CTA

  • Mention the free trial to kill the friction

  • Follow up with the people who clicked

One honest recommendation to a founder audience can pay you every month for years.

6. Blog (slowest, most durable)

The classic SEO play. It compounds over months.

  • Target keywords like "best AI SEO tools", "Distribb review", "AI tool that writes and publishes content automatically"

  • Write comparisons, in-depth reviews and case studies with screenshots and CTAs

  • Cloak your links and update the posts as you get results

Slowest to rank. Hardest to kill once it does.

The one rule that makes all of this work

Lead with the problem, not the tool.

Nobody wakes up wanting to buy software. They wake up tired of writing articles nobody reads, tired of paying five subscriptions, tired of waiting six months for traffic.

Talk about that. The free 3-day trial does the closing, because it publishes real articles in the first days. Your audience sees the result before they pay.

And always disclose the relationship where it's required. It costs you nothing and it protects you.

Start today

Pick one channel. Not six. One.

Publish one thing today with your link in it.

You can do that in the next hour: Become a Distribb Partner

The founding window is open. 40% for life instead of 30%.
